Here's a video where Breathwork Teacher, Jay Bradley & I discuss the Trauma Informed Awareness Class:

TRAUMA INFORMED AWARENESS
Becoming a truly safe space for healing begins with understanding trauma.
As healing professionals, our work invites people into deep, often vulnerable experiences of release and transformation. But when we don’t fully understand how trauma lives in the body — and how easily it can be re-activated — even well-intentioned healing work can unintentionally cause harm. This class is designed to help breathworkers and healing practitioners to begin to deepen their awareness, so that every client interaction supports safety, regulation, and trust.
What You’ll Learn
In this 2-hour class, you’ll gain a foundational understanding of:
-
What trauma really is — and how it shapes the nervous system
-
Different types of trauma and how they show up in sessions
-
What “trauma-informed” means (and what it does not mean)
-
Levels of trauma-informed care and how to meet clients where they are
-
Why being trauma-sensitive is essential for every breathwork or healing practice

Why It Matters
Many practitioners are highly skilled in their modality — yet haven’t been taught how trauma impacts the body, mind, and breath. Being trauma-informed doesn’t mean you treat trauma. It means you understand how to recognize it, respond with care, and create conditions where your clients feel safe enough to heal.
When we work with awareness, presence, and respect for each person’s pace, healing can unfold naturally — at the speed of safety.
