INNER RELATIONSHIP FOCUSING
Learn How to Be Gentle with Yourself. Discover a proven method to build secure attachment, by learning this powerful somatic process called (IRF) Inner Relationship Focusing. Our nervous systems crave safety and connection. This gentle process is learned in partnerships and is one of the most transformative things I've ever experienced. It changed my life, and I hope it does the same for you. I'd love to share it with you.

Inner Relationship Focusing (IRF), sometimes called just Focusing, is a gentle somatic technique for accessing and building relationship with our inner states. It was originally developed by Eugene Gendlin, with refinements by my mentors Ann Weiser Cornell and Barbara McGavin.
This practice helps us meet our feelings, sensations, and merged states from the perspective of an inner observer — one that offers compassion, not judgment. IRF teaches that what’s often missing is the inner relationship itself: being with our experience rather than trying to change it. This simple act creates the conditions for empathy, integration, and organic change.
IRF can be deeply transformative for personal use and also integrates beautifully into therapeutic work. Many Focusers claim it's better than therapy.

The full 18-week training is split into two parts. You can choose to complete both, or begin with Part 1.
PART 1 - The first part is a 9-session journey where you’ll gently learn to make this model your own and weave it into your daily life.
PART 2 - The second part is another 9-session series that takes you a step further, inviting you into the art of companioning others and opening the way toward certification in the IRF model.
